Grant Creative Cuisine, the UK manufacturer of premium sous vide equipment for both the home and professional chef, were delighted to be invited by Big Green Egg to their Flavor Fair event in Switzerland on 23rd April 2017.
Sous vide cooking in a technique in which ingredients such as meats and fish are cooked at a lower, consistent temperature in a water bath. All ingredients, herbs and spices are captured in a sous vide vacuum pouch, giving a fuller flavour to ingredients, not to mention the added health, time and cost saving benefits.
Chef and brand ambassador Gerard Dehaye attended the event along with European Sales Manager Olivier Heitz, where they cooked a number of tasting platters for guests, first adding them to our Primo and Vortice sous vide products to cook before searing them in the Big Green Egg. The event was a great success and Grant Creative Cuisine look forward to cooking at some more Flavor Fair events in conjunction with Big Green Egg in the future.
